My Dad, Thomas Callaghan, is one of 4000 Canadian living with ALS.  The journey of those living with ALS and the impact that it has on those around them is both unique and profound.   It has always been important to Dad to "do unto others as you would have done to you". My parents have instilled not only in me and my siblings, but also in their grandchildren, the importance of community and giving back, which is why I have chosen to participate in Revolution Ride virtually from Manitoulin Island.
Our family is so grateful for the care and support that Dad has received from our local healthcare providers, community members, businesses and friends.   Participating in the Revolution Ride virtually from our our hometown is my way of honoring his legacy and thanking everyone for their care and compassion, while raising awareness for this devastating disease.
